HEADS UP! Youth Forum 2016

There will be a range of speakers, entertainment and networking opportunities for young leaders of the NT. Anyone can apply to attend, registrations are essential.

The HEADS UP! Youth forum 2016 is a motivational and inspirational event for young Territorians aged 15- 25 years, the 2016 Forum will focus on Overcoming Hurdles; Opening Minds and Looking After Yourself on your road to success.

The first HEADS UP! Youth Forum will be held on June 18, 2016 at the Mercure Darwin Airport Resort. It is a whole day event, starting at 8.30am with a welcome to country and ending at 6pm with a performance from our key note speaker Phillip Murray aka Interstate Hip Hop Artist Philly.

Other inspirational speakers include Timmy Duggan, Emily Williams, Michael Trikilis, Kennith Kadigamar, Kate Axten, Lauren Moss and Nathan Barrett.

Although we have so many amazing young people in Darwin, Palmerston and regional Northern Territory, there was no large open leadership forum for young people. We wanted to create a space for young people to be inspired or young leaders to be rewarded. An opportunity to network and be treated and respected as an adult. This is not only inspiration for young people but some of their first tastes of professional development.

 HEADS UP! Youth forum's main organizer and sponsor is TeamHEALTH working alongside a range of government, youth and local organizations.
